Plus

  • Outdoor and tough messes: grass, mud, skunk, grease, oils, ink, crayons, and more

Why Chose An Enzyme Cleaner?

Plus

The same enzymes known to break down food in our digestive system also break down tough stains and awful odors.

Unlike chemical-based cleaners, enzyme-based cleaners use non-pathogenic bacteria to speed up the process of breaking down organic waste by acting as a catalyst. Enzymes break down complex molecules in starches and proteins to eliminate stains and odors entirely. The enzymes are small enough to penetrate the smallest corners. Once the enzymes dry out, they die. Allowing the area to dry naturally, and not rushing the process, ensures the stain and odor are completely removed.

Using Kids 'N' Pets

Where can I use it?

Plus

On just about anything, including all these water-safe surfaces: carpets, couches, mattresses, furniture, upholstery, hard floors, rugs, clothing, shoes, pet beds, litter boxes, kennels, car seats, pillows, cushions, blankets, sports gear, tile, countertops, artificial grass, and more.

Does it work on set-in stains and old odors?

Plus

Yes. Both enzyme formulas work on fresh and set-in stains. Older or deeper stains may need a longer soak or a second application.

How do I know if it's safe to use on my furniture?

Plus

Before using Kids 'N' Pets to remove stains and odors on your furniture, check the manufacturer's label for the cleaning code.

Code Options May Be:

W - Can be cleaned with water-based cleaners like Kids 'N' Pets.

S - Dry clean only, or use a solvent sparingly. Do not use a water-based cleaner.

WS - Either of the above methods may be used.

X - Not cleanable. Vacuum only.

How do I get the best results?

Plus
  1. Shake well. Give the bottle a good shake before each use.
  2. Remove excess debris. Clear any solid waste before applying.
  3. Pre-test. Check for colorfastness in a hidden area before treating a visible surface.
  4. Saturate the area. Apply enough product to reach all layers of the mess.
  5. Let it sit. 10 or more minutes for most messes, up to 1 hour for tough stains and odors.
  6. Blot clean with a clean cloth. Do not rub.
  7. Repeat if needed. Older or deeper stains may need a second application.

Safety

Is it safe to use around kids and pets?

Plus

Both formulas are made for homes where kids and pets are on the floor, touching surfaces, and in the middle of everything. As with any household cleaner, follow the label: avoid contact with eyes and skin, use in a well-ventilated area, don't swallow it, and let treated areas dry fully before letting kids or pets back on them.

Mom's Miracle is fragrance-free and alcohol-free, which is a meaningful difference for households with crawling babies, toddlers, or pets that lick treated surfaces, since there's no added fragrance or alcohol left behind once the area dries. The Stain + Odor Remover for Urine + More contains fragrance and isopropyl alcohol; see its label for full precautions.

What should I do if it gets in my eyes or on my skin, or if I swallow it?

Plus

Per the printed label for the Stain + Odor Remover for Urine + More: for eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes; if irritation persists, seek medical attention. For skin, wash with plenty of water; if irritation develops, seek medical attention. If breathing is difficult after exposure to mist or spray, move to fresh air and seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
